Today in January 12th 2025

This morning was cold and frosty and I have to share some of the drone footage and photographs with you here. Some taken this morning and some yesterday afternoon. All within 5 miles of where I live in fenland Norfolk.

This was taken by my drone flown from by back door and looking at the land behind my little house. (Used to be a scrap yard but now just overgrown)

Turn around and look over the village.

After the breakfast porridge and coffee out in the car to the other end of the village and out along the course of the Old River Nene to take some more pictures of the hoe frost.

I think that i just got the timing right and some of these have come out really well.

This is the Old River Nene

Then I moved across to the Middle Level Main Drain.

You can see under the bridge is a barge and in the distance are diggers dredging the drain. This drain is one of the most important waterways in the Fenns.

The afternoon before I took a few you ma bi interested in by the Middle Level, it was still very cold but you cannot really see the frost on the Fen.
